2011 was hands down the most amazing year of my life!
I love Hubby dearly and our wedding day was completely magical! About as close to perfect as you can get on a 42 degree Sydney day! But even Hubby will concede that it doesn’t really compete with the magic of 2011! Having grown a little life inside me for 9 months, I gave birth to Cheeky Monkey in 2011! Life will never be the same again, and there is no way Hubby or I would ever want to go back to the way things were… I’m not even sure we fully remember what pre-parenthood was like.
Though he certainly was the highlight, Cheeky Monkey wasn’t the only new life that entered our home in 2011. Life’s Juggling ACT was another new addition that came along. It’s been an enjoyable and very educational journey, especially trying to juggle the two! And as you would expect, in many ways Cheeky Monkey won out and I didn’t achieve half of what I set out to achieve here on Life’s Juggling ACT in 2011. But not to worry… I am planning for 2012 to be a different story!!!
What did happen in 2011?
- Life’s Juggling ACT was read by more people than four New York subway trains can hold!
- Life’s Juggling ACT was viewed from every continent of the globe
- Why can’t I be more fashionable? was the most popular post on Life’s Juggling ACT‘s busiest traffic day
2011′s most viewed posts?
- Why can’t I be more fashionable?
- E.T. Phone Home
- Dodgy Optus Telemarketing…
- Getting paid to be a Mum
- Is society becoming increasingly self-centred?
What would I have liked to achieve, but didn’t manage in 2011?
I wanted to make Life’s Juggling ACT self-sustaining in 2011, but adjusting to motherhood and caring for Cheeky Monkey full-time saw this goal thwarted. I have read a wide range of blogging development blogs in 2011 and learned a great deal about blogging, strategies that work and those that don’t. I failed to convert that knowledge into income streams in 2011, so obviously that is high on my 2012 list of goals! The awesome cartoon/ logo that I’ve been planning for Life’s Juggling ACT didn’t eventuate as it was difficult to justify spending money when no money was coming in. And of course there is much I would like to do with the design of Life’s Juggling ACT and the local child-friendly information available that I haven’t progressed as much as I would have liked.
2012 will see many changes and some new lives entering our household – though not as dramatic as the entrance of Cheeky Monkey in 2011! So Life’s Juggling ACT is a work in progress, kind of like me I guess. I’m looking forward to continuing to share this journey with you in the rest of 2012!
